At Mississippi State you are gonna be surrounded by a growing agricultural town located in north Mississippi. We have an offering and capable student body with a wide range of opportunities and challenges for learning and growth. The college officially became known as mississippi state in 1932 when they were granted its first accreditation. We have some of the best sports teams in the u.s. with a consistently good football team, and a 2 time championship baseball team. They are also well known for there 4,200 acres, including farms, pastures, and woodlands. They also have a horse farm that extends 1,650 acres along with 6 horse tracks and 12 horse stables.
